The Verizon Foundation has awarded funds in the amount of $66 million to several nonprofit organizations across the United States of America in an attempt to address concerns associated with advancing health care, domestic violence prevention, education and sustainability.
The foundation also collaborated with the University of Virginia to help support a clinic in a remote community in southwest Virginia.
